Inspired by an early summer breeze flowing through a flower bed, this ready-to-wear collection consisted of effortlessly poetic dresses that capture the feels of an untouched romantic garden. Known for his attention to detail, finesse and modern silhouettes, this season Elie projects a scene full of soft radiance and motion with an array of white floral lace crochet silhouettes. A stylish young and fresh collection bursting with a carefree attitude of feel-good energy.
The show opened with a model wearing a crafted crochet floral lace crop-top with a long crochet high slit skirt. Featuring crochet halter tops, mini dresses, shorts, bustiers and a cotton kaftan. The broderie detailing lends a delicate touch, while the airy soft, pure fabrics ensure easy movement and comfort. With a flow of immaculate fresh white ensembles, the colour palette gradually shifted into green, pink, and purple and then to the soft pastel flowers of springtime.
Soft luxurious textures were layered in free flowing compositions that carried their effortless self-confidence throughout the day. Not one to forget evening glamour, the designer incorporated various signature elements with glittery looks and colourful bouquet appliqués on tulle silhouettes that glowed on a range of sequined tulle maxi dresses. There were embellished jackets and pants with accentuated embroideries and an outstanding green long silk cape dress.
The collection also presented enamelled floral brooches and dangling earrings. All in all the show represented the perfect looks for those exciting Spring-Summer matinees and soirees.
