Elie Saab chose savanna as his muse for the Spring-Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear collection. A diamond in the rough, as a savanna is, which gives a spark and color to a dull landscape.
He used fabrics like lace, mousseline, satin, crepe, organza in different shapes and volumes. A collection of discovery and adventures using the colors of nature from the earthy sand to the evergreen trees across blue rivers.
The African intact land, its hills and deserts, embodied looks that are flowy, elegant and ethereal. From shirts, jackets and jumpsuits to dresses, capes and caftans that all balance comfort and femininity, elegance and discreetness.
Accessories were equally charming as Saab recreated African beaded necklaces and golden chains adorning the Ready-To-Wear ensembles.
