This specialization enables me to provide comprehensive support, resolve disputes, and contribute significantly to the success of the organizations I serve.

In your opinion, why do many students fear the legal sector as a career choice?

Students may fear the legal sector as a career choice due to its demanding nature, high-pressure environment, and complex legal principles. The process of becoming a licensed lawyer can also seem daunting. Additionally, they may experience confusion when choosing a specific direction, field, or specialization within the law.

And how dynamic is this career?

The legal career is highly dynamic, particularly in Saudi Arabia, where rapid expansion in sectors such as tourism, foreign investment, sports, intellectual property, and project management drives constant change. This offers numerous opportunities for those who are adaptable and forward-thinking. As the country pursues its ambitious goals under Vision 2030, including initiatives that further amplify the demand for specialized legal expertise, these sectors will continue to grow. Tell us why is it important for companies to hire a legal representative?

Hiring a legal representative is crucial for companies because they ensure compliance with laws and regulations, mitigate legal risks, and manage disputes effectively. Their expertise also supports strategic decision-making and ensures that the company navigates legal challenges smoothly, ultimately contributing to its long-term success and stability.

How would you describe the legal arena in the MENA region?

The legal arena in the MENA region is diverse and rapidly evolving, characterized by a blend of traditional practices and modern developments. It encompasses a range of legal systems, including civil, common, and Sharia law, reflecting the region’s historical and cultural influences. Recent years have seen significant reforms aimed at enhancing business environments, improving regulatory frameworks, and attracting foreign investment, particularly in countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.

On a personal note, how do you handle the stress that comes with your high-profile projects?

I manage stress from high-profile projects by prioritizing tasks, staying organized, and maintaining clear communication with my team. I break projects into manageable steps, ensure regular updates, and take breaks to avoid burnout. Focusing on the end goals and balancing work with self-care also helps me handle pressure effectively.

As a successful businesswoman, how challenging was it to get to where you are today?

Getting to where I am today involved significant challenges. I immersed myself in various aspects of legal practice, including corporate, business, and labor law. Gaining practical experience through internships with local law firms and senior litigators provided me with firsthand insights into legal processes and court proceedings.

Navigating the complexities of legal services and expanding my expertise in contract drafting, reviewing, and representing clients in Saudi Arabian courts were demanding but essential steps. I manage my work-life balance by setting clear boundaries between professional and personal time. I prioritize effective time management, ensuring that work tasks are completed within designated hours. I schedule regular breaks and time off to recharge, and I make a conscious effort to engage in activities that promote relaxation and personal well-being. Additionally, I maintain open communication with my team to delegate tasks effectively, which helps reduce stress and maintain a healthy balance. By integrating these strategies, I am able to stay productive while also enjoying a fulfilling personal life.

What is your proudest career moment out of all?

One of my proudest career moments was completing a challenging journey that every lawyer must undertake. This hands-on experience, combined with the rigorous study required to complete over 100 hours of specialized courses at the Judicial Training Center, culminated in my successful acquisition of a legal license and certifications.

Throughout this journey, I never gave up. From the start of my legal education, I was dedicated to enhancing my legal English skills, a decision that has proven highly beneficial. Specializing in contracts and corporate law allowed me to build a strong reputation, leading to increased demand for my expertise in these areas.
